Take Part in the Commute Trip Reduction “Find Another Way” Campaign
Win a Safeway gift card on Wednesdays in November by Finding Another Way to work, such as carpooling, riding the bus, vanpooling, working from home, walking or bicycling. Every Thursday a drawing will be held for everyone that participates on Wednesday and filled out their commute calendar at http://www.mycommute.org/. By participating on Wednesday or any other day in November, you’ll be eligible to win one of six $25 Safeway gift cards or one $150 Safeway gift card. Plus, you’ll save money and wear and tear on your car, reduce stress, and help reduce air pollution and traffic congestion in our community.

Clarification on Vendor Discounts Offered to Whitworth Employees
Local Vendor Discounts: Various north Spokane businesses, including Ritters Florist and Nursery, Bruchi’s CheeseSteaks & Subs, and the YMCA, offer discounts to Whitworth employees with I.D. For more information, please contact the vendors directly. Discounts offered by businesses do not imply the university’s endorsement or recommendation of the business or service.
Whitworth Employee Discount Program: Whitworth offers employees an official program that features discounts by local and national vendors. Vendor discounts range from clothing and fitness to home décor and portrait photography. Participating vendors must submit an online application; approved applications are then posted to the Employee Discount Program page. (The “Employee Discount Program – Browse Listings” link is also available on the Human Resource Services home page.) Vendor participation in the Whitworth Employee Discount Program does not imply the university’s endorsement or recommendation of the business or service.
