Join us to celebrate the inauguration of Beck A. Taylor as the 18th president of Whitworth University

Please plan to join your fellow students, faculty and staff for the inauguration of Beck A. Taylor, Ph.D., as the 18th president of Whitworth University. To mark the presidential inauguration, we will explore what it means to be a “Community of Courage.” A week-long series of events will challenge faculty, staff, students and the larger university community to engage society's most important issues with the intellectual rigor and love of Christ for which Whitworth has always been known.

The week will culminate in President Taylor’s inauguration ceremony at 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 15, in the Whitworth Fieldhouse. Campus offices will be closed for the ceremony and everyone is encouraged to attend. Friday afternoon classes will continue at the discretion of the faculty member.
