The School of Education has been working for more than a year to prepare for reviews by the Washington Professional Educator Standards Board and the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education. That preparation culminated in site visits March 26-30 by teams from both agencies.
The exit reports from the teams were very favorable and we will share the final outcomes of those reviews after the official boards meet and take action. However, the preparation of teachers, school counselors and school administrators is a team effort that includes the entire university. From all of us in the School of Education, thank you for your work and for your ongoing support of our programs and our students!
